“silly”-an adjective that calling to mind clown hair extensions and hairpieces

“Silly” is a dismissive term, an adjective that calling to mind clown Hair Extensions and Hairpieces and red bulbous noses.
Secretary of Knowledge Arne Duncan must hold a big share in a clown wig manufacturer. He uses the phrase “silly” a lot these days to explain individuals who have opinions that vary from his on the subject to train change, both K-12 as well as college.
In delayed Sept, Assistant Duncan said that critique of the Typical Primary requirements came to “political absurdity.”
In that same week, Assistant Duncan also said that critique of the suggestions for new rules for college was “more than a little foolish.”

Can anybody have a serious distinction of viewpoint with the secretary without being ignored as silly?
Not at all foolish is the point that the same education innovator has now ignored “white suv moms” as the resource of issue for the Typical Primary. I wonder where that results in a rather large number of Catholic students who have indicated problems as well, or important variety of fundamentals and school management who have also problems.
And, in college, it’s certainly not foolish that lots of individuals who actually do know what they’re referring to have brought up several genuine problems about the capability of this govt to apply a college ranking system based on some fairly suspicious information. (We do have difficulties neglecting the simply proven reality that this govt that wants to rebuilding college with “Datapalooza” is the same govt that’s trying to determine how to make a working website for medical care over at HHS.)
