Long-haired learners and group associates help kids with party wigs

CHAMPION - Long-haired learners and group associates didn't mind getting some of their locks cut to help cosmetology learners at the Trumbull Profession and Technological Middle gather locks for children who have missing theirs.
The attempt was aspect of Party Wigs for Kids fundraising occasion synchronized by mature cosmetology learners Rachael Bayley and Kali Harvey who organised the occasion for their mature venture.
Wigs for Kids is a non-profit company that allows children who have missing their locks and battle to cope with public approval depending on overall look.
Harvey said offering custom-fitted, age-appropriate wigs allows children feel better about their overall look and look more like their colleagues.

Linda Sweitzer of Leavittsburg has not had her locks cut in 27 years, and it had achieved 24 inches wide.
''When I observed about this I desired to help,'' she said.
Ten females and ladies contributed locks of at least One foot wide long with a complete of 690 inches wide contributed.
Harvey said many of the children who need wigs have missing their locks due to radiation treatment.
She said she and Bayley will do their mature venture on the locks contributions and take aspect in condition competitors at the Abilities USA competitors.
''We were grateful that what we did for our venture will help others,'' Harvey said.
